Each ingredient works to boost your natural immunity and together they are an ideal combination to fight inflammation, soothe a sore throat and help prevent susceptibility to infections. Baobab powder is extremely rich in prebiotic fibre to help maintain a healthy and happy gut.

Ingredients

¾ C raw honey
2 Tbsp grated fresh ginger (not powdered)
2 tsp Baobab Powder
2 tsp turmeric, ground or fresh
1 tsp lemon zest, preferably organic
½ tsp freshly ground black pepper

Method

Step 1:

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk briskly to combine. Store in a jar and enjoy by the spoonful whenever you desire.

Notes:

The tonic can be taken on its own, or enjoyed dissolved in hot (not boiling) water - or even stirred through a bowl of yoghurt or oats. The possibilities are endless! Can be stored at room temperature for a few weeks, or in the refrigerator for longer.
