In a small saucepan over a medium heat, stirring constantly, toast the coconut and sesame seeds until golden brown and fragrant.Step 2
Add milk and water to the saucepan and bring to a simmer, but do not boil.Step 3
Add mixture to a high speed blender along with the rest of the ingredients, and blend on high for 3 minutes or until smooth. Taste and adjust for your preferences.Step 4
Filter through a fine mesh sieve and return to the saucepan to gently heat until at desired drinking temperature. Pour into two mugs and enjoy!Note:
This drink can be served hot, or enjoyed cold for a delicious iced frappé. Simply skip the final reheating step - store in the fridge until cool - and pour over ice for a refreshing summer beverage.
If you’d like to add extra froth or foam to your latte, simply use an electrical or hand-held milk-frother after the milk mixture has been filtered.
