Moringa, Lime & White Chocolate Truffles

These antioxidant packed truffles are impossibly smooth and creamy, and make use of the incredibly nutritional moringa powder as well as nourishing cacao butter, for an extra superfood boost. Zesty citrus notes complement the unique moringa flavour and make these truffles taste way more sophisticated than they are to put together. A perfect healthy snack, these delicious bites are low in sugar, high in anti-inflammatory properties, and brimming with plant power!

100g coconut cream
100g Cacao Butter
75g coconut butter
2 Tbsp honey/pure maple syrup
1 tsp macadamia butter
pinch of salt
zest of ½ lime
zest of ¼ orange
1 small lime, juiced
1 Tbsp Moringa Powder
60g pistachios, finely chopped (optional)


Step 1:

Combine the coconut cream, cacao butter, coconut butter and your sweetener of choice in a small saucepan. Melt very gently over a low heat, and whisk together until smooth. Remove from heat to cool slightly.

Step 2:

Stir in the macadamia butter, salt, orange zest, lime zest & lime juice and stir to create a silky smooth texture.

Step 3:

Place the mixture in a shallow bowl and refrigerate until firm; about 30 minutes - 1 hour.

Step 4:

Using a spoon, scoop small truffles from the mixture and gently shape into balls with your hands.
