Mushroom Chocolate Immuni-Tea

This is the CALMING & RESTORATIVE mushroom tea blend that we use every day as a base for teas, coffees, golden lattes, smoothies and hot chocolate. By boiling the tea daily, we can keep the same pot going for almost a month, which means a little goes a long way, whilst still packing a punch, even when feeling the pinch.

1 packet African Forest Medicinals (AFM) Tea Mix
2 Tbsp Chaga Powder
1 - 2L Water
1 Tbsp Cacao Powder
1 Tbsp honey or sweetener of choice
Milk of choice (hemp / oat / cashew)


Step 1:

Empty the contents of the AFM Tea Mix into a large pot or stovetop kettle with 1 - 2L or enough water to fill the pot, and add the chaga powder. Bring the water to the boil.

Step 2:

Once boiled, strain enough mushroom tea for 2 cups into a blender, adding the cacao powder, honey and milk.

Step 3:

Blend until smooth & serve.

Caution: blending hot drinks in your blender can create pressure, so please be careful!


Allow the tea to cool and use as a base for smoothies. You can reuse the tea mix over and over again. Just add more water to the pot, bring it to the boil daily and you can use it for at least 2 – 3 weeks (or until the brew goes weak). You can boost the brew with an additional 2 T of chaga powder to make it last even longer!
