We made a promise to look after our earth, and so we started with earth friendly bio packaging filled with high integrity & sustainably sourced superfoods.
Being 100% biodegradable & plastic free on our own we realized wasn't enough. It does great to reduce and minimize our footprint but the world being the world tends to be much bigger & produces trash at a much faster rate. So we needed to think bigger - to think as a collective.
We discovered Sea Change Project & fell ever more in love with our African underwater world, and so we decided to share our support and winnings with them. Together through our collective efforts we aim to raise awareness around the beauty of our oceans so that we can all cherish it & it's ocean sentients for centuries to come.
As part of our ethos, of leading by change & being committed to the earth, we’re undertaking sustainable initiatives which we believe will create awareness & drive meaningful change that will have a lasting positive impact on our beautiful earth.
We will support the Sea Change Project to conserve our ocean starting this Black Friday 23 November by donating a percentage of our sales to the Sea Change Project trust. They are a non-profit community of scientists, storytellers, journalists and filmmakers who aim to deepen our connection with nature through science, visual storytelling & authentic experiences.
Our donation along with yours when you choose to support our cause or purchase our products , will be the first step towards putting the Great African Seaforest on the map as one of the greatest natural wonders of the world. In doing so it will drive more initiatives and raise global awareness around firstly recognizing its beauty and secondly therefore the need to conserve it.
You may donate any amount of your choosing, but we ask that you join us to support this cause and match our donation of 2.5% so that we can together donate 5% or more of our profits to this wonderful initiative.
As a community & as the public, we have a great roll to play in creating awareness and protecting our heritage for future generations & we believe Sea Change is part of this process.
It includes a community of scientists, storytellers, journalists and film- makers who dedicate their lives to exploring and conserving the ocean. The Sea-Change Trust works alongside partners such as WWF-SASSI and the Mission Blue: Sylvia Earle Alliance to change the laws and ultimately promote marine protected areas.
You can further support the Sea Change Project by purchasing their book: Sea Change Primal Joy and the Art of Underwater tracking, by Craig Foster and Ross Frylinck. All the proceeds from the Sea Change Project's book sales, go to support the Ocean through the Sea Change Trust. Go to seachangeproject.com
