METHOD
STEP 1:
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk briskly to combine. Store in a jar and enjoy by the spoonful whenever you desire.
NOTES:
The tonic can be taken on its own, or enjoyed dissolved in hot (not boiling) water - or even stirred through a bowl of yoghurt or oats. The possibilities are endless! Can be stored at room temperature for a few weeks, or in the refrigerator for longer.
INGREDIENTS
- ¾ C raw honey
- 2 Tbsp grated fresh ginger (not powdered)
- 2 tsp Baobab Powder
- 2 tsp turmeric, ground or fresh
- 1 tsp lemon zest, preferably organic
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
