METHOD
STEP 1:
Prepare the chocolate coating Melt the cacao butter, then stir in the chocolate ingredients.
STEP 2:
Make the maca toffee: melt cacao butter and add melted cacao butter along with all maca toffee ingredients to a blender and blend.
STEP 3:
Using a teaspoon, spoon out maca toffee onto a baking sheet. And place in the freezer for 20min.
STEP 4:
Take the maca toffee out of the freezer and spoon over chocolate coating. Place it back in the freezer and let it freeze for 10min.
STEP 5:
Take it out of the freezer, turn the bites over and spoon over the remaining chocolate. Then place it back in the freezer and let sit for 10min.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup
- ½ tsp lucuma
- 1 ½ tsp maca xpresso
- 10 small fresh dates
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp peanut butter
- 2 large chunks cacao butter
Chocolate coating
- 2 Tbsp cacao powder
- 1 ½ tsp maple syrup
- 2 large chunks cacao butter
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of Himalayan salt
TOPPINGS:
Top with peanut butter if you like it to be more peanut buttery
