METHOD
STEP 1:
Remove skin from avocado.
STEP 2:
Add all the ingredients into a food processor and blend on high speed. It must be silky smooth and contain no lumps.
STEP 3:
Place in a bowl and allow to set in the fridge, while you make the caramel sauce.
STEP 4:
To make the caramel sauce, soak the dates in hot water.
STEP 5:
Add all the ingredients into a blender except dates. Blend until well combined.
STEP 6:
Drain the dates, adding one in at a time. Keep blending until smooth, making sure there are no lumps.
INGREDIENTS
- 3 avocados, pitted
- ½ C Raw Cacao Powder
- ¼ C Coconut Blossom Nectar
- ¼ C coconut oil
Salted Caramel Sauce:
- ¼ C Coconut Blossom Nectar
- ¼ C coconut milk
- ⅓ C natural cashew butter
- 2 dates, soaked
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp fine sea salt
- 1 tsp coconut oil, melted
Top with:
- 4 tsp roasted cashew nuts, crushed
- 100g sliced banana or fruit of choice
